JPEG, PNG, WebP and browser-decodable AVIF files are supported. HEIC/HEIF works only when the current browser can decode it.

What the score means
Technical signals, explained.
The analysis combines Laplacian variance, edge density, local contrast and directional blur imbalance. Highlight and shadow clipping contribute to a separate exposure score. A high number does not make a photograph artistically better.
Similarity groups
A compact perceptual difference hash, dimensions and available capture time form likely burst groups. Sensitivity remains under your control.
Human review stays final
Keep, Maybe and Reject are review labels only. The browser never deletes, moves or overwrites the original file.

Photo safety and limits.
Are the photos uploaded?
No. File decoding, pixel analysis and grouping run locally. The page still loads normal site, advertising and public recommendation resources.
Does it detect the best expression?
No. It cannot reliably judge expression, timing, emotion or composition. It ranks technical sharpness and exposure signals.
Why does HEIC fail?
Production v1 relies on browser decoding. Safari may decode more HEIC files than some desktop browsers. Unsupported files are listed with a reason.
Can I analyze 500 images?
The queue is designed for large batches, but device memory and source resolution matter. Mobile concurrency is reduced automatically and the batch can be paused or cancelled.
